Monday: $5 Mules

There is just something about a mule in a copper mug to warm you up on a cold, Fall day. Choose one of our delicious mules and get it for just $5 on Mondays! Each one is made with Tito’s vodka and Q ginger beer. We love the original, but we’ve also got a tasty Hola Peno Mango, Filthy Pineapple, Hill Country, Lime in the Coco, and a Fire and Ice. 

Tuesday: $5 Margaritas

Let the good times roll on Tuesday with $5 Margs all day long! The lime is a nice balance to many of our spicy dishes, including the Kitchen Sink Gumbo and the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich.

Wednesday: Half Priced Wines!

Winey Wednesdays are the placed to be. Half priced wine all day makes the work week bearable. Enjoy your favorite Merlot or Sauvignon Blanc, or ask our server to help you select from our carefully selected wine menu.

Mondays: $5 Mules

Tuesdays: $5 Margaritas

Who said Tex Mex restaurants were the only ones who could make a good margarita? Our bartenders are true craftsman, able to whip up the best cocktails in town. Our margaritas are no exception, and just $5 all day on Tuesdays! Taco Tuesday at Tricky Fish, anyone?!

Wednesdays: Half Price Wine by the Glass

Thursday Nights are Pint Nights at Tricky Fish!

Ever wanted to learn the ins and outs of great tasting beer from the breweries themselves?

We love talking with our craft breweries about their beer because there is so much to be learned! Whether you want to learn more about our craft brews on tap – or you just love beer – you are going to love pint nights at Tricky Fish!

Beginning Thursday, May 31, we are officially naming Thursdays as Pint Nights at Tricky Fish! Each week, we’ll host a different craft brewery, sharing their insider secrets on what makes their beer uniquely their own. Tasting notes, new seasonal beer, and even swag – you’ll walk away with more than just a glass of beer.

So what breweries are coming?! Here’s the rundown on the schedule as it stands now:

May 31 – Nine Band Brewing Co.

From right here in North Texas, Nine Band Brewing hails from Allen, Texas. Nine Band Brewing is affectionately named for the nine banded armadillo, a common site here in the great state of Texas. Favorite brews include the Cactus Cat Kolsch, a German-style beer that is light and crispy and perfect for summer sippin’.

June 7 – Oak Highlands Brewery

A young brewery from Lake Highlands, you’ll love getting to taste their unique, eclectic menu of beer. Try beers such as Freaky Deaky, DFDub, Derelict, and more.

June 14 – 512 Brewing

512 Brewing touts the best IPA in Austin, and you’ll soon see why! They were the first in Austin to corner the IPA market and that precision continues today and carries over into their other brews as well.

June 15 – Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale

Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale is unique and delicious, hailing from Alltech Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co. in Kentucky. It’s the premier beer of bourbon country, aged in freshly decanted bourbon barrels for a flavor you’ve just got to try.

June 28 – Deep Ellum Brewing Co.

One of Dallas’ premier breweries – Deep Ellum – will be here and you won’t want to miss it! Each beer is craft brewed to taste original, unique, and delicious – no watered down, run-of-the-mill brews here.

Sippin' Whiskies to Try Now at Tricky Fish!

As the days get cooler, it feels good to warm up with a glass of bourbon or two. (or three.)

At Tricky Fish, we love bourbon. We’ve gone to great lengths to choose a menu of “sippin’ whiskies” that will impress the palette and challenge you to try something new. Here are a few of our favorite bourbons, on the menu now at Tricky Fish, located in CityLine in Richardson, Texas:

1.  Firestone & Robertson TX Blended Whiskey

Tricky Fish loves supporting local, Texas craft breweries and distilleries. TX is one of our favorites, and not just because it’s produced in Texas, but because it’s just delicious bourbon – pure and simple. It goes down smooth, with sweet hints of honey butter, vanilla bean, oak, pear, and even caramel. But don’t take our word for it! TX was recently awarded the “Best American Craft Whiskey” in the World Spirits Competition.

2.  Booker’s Barrel Strength Whiskey

Hang on to your hats, because Booker’s is a bourbon that packs a punch! Booker’s is raw, uncut and unfiltered bourbon, which means each batch is aged to perfection and then immediately bottled. Nothing is added. You get what you get. Simplicity at it’s finest, and it’s pretty darn good stuff.

3.  Balconies Baby Blue Roasted Corn Whiskey

Want to try something new and different? Give Balconies Baby Blue a try. A departure from the typically craft bourbon, Baby Blue is crafted using roasted blue corn, creating a bourbon with a distinctive nuttiness and complex nose. Who knew blue corn could create such an amazing, award-winning sippin’ whiskey?!

4.  Stranahan’s Rocky Mountain Single Malt Whiskey

Distilled in Colorado, Stranahan’s whiskey contains only 4 ingredients: 100% malted barley, Rocky Mountain water, yeast, and time in the barrel. Somehow these simple ingredients are perfectly blended to create smooth whiskey - and call us crazy - but we swear we taste the mountains in every sip!
